6-Day Samburu Ol Pejeta Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Adventure

Depart Nairobi early and drive north through scenic landscapes to Samburu National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at Samburu Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive along the Ewaso Ng’iro River, spotting animals like reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, elephants, and lions. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives, focusing on the Samburu Special Five: gerenuk, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and Grevy’s zebra. You’ll also see elephants, lions, and other wildlife. Relax at Samburu Sopa Lodge between drives.

After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, known for its black rhino sanctuary and chimpanzee sanctuary. Check in at Comfort Gardens, then enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot rhinos, elephants, buffalos, and chimpanzees. Overnight at Comfort Gardens.

Leave Ol Pejeta after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Check in at Eldorado Rustic Hotel before an afternoon game drive to see flamingos, rhinos, baboons, and waterbucks. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive exploring the vast plains in search of wildlife such as lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and cheetahs. Check in at AA Lodge Mara for dinner and overnight stay.

Start your day early with a game drive in Maasai Mara, when wildlife is most active and predators are often on the move. After breakfast at AA Lodge Mara, you have the option to enjoy a thrilling hot air balloon safari for a unique aerial view of the Mara plains (additional cost). Afterwards, continue with a game drive until 2:00 pm, maximizing your chances to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and other animals. Later visit maasai village before you begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon to conclude your unforgettable safari adventure.
